Andrew was immersed in the world of technology at an early age and began to work on global technology infrastructure projects after being recruited by Investment Banking at Scotiabank at the age of 18, while still at the University of Toronto studying computer science. These projects took him to Europe and around the USA and sparked a lifelong fascination with technology and automation. Shortly after leaving that project he began to work on the internet, well before the days of google or explorer, while working at Nortel on their global infrastructure broadband deployment. After year of growth and a series of ever more increasing technology company challenges Andrew embraced the role of leading edge systems engineering; designing infrastructure and supporting partners in South America and Canada for Silicon Valley start-ups until 1999.
After a multi-year hiatus in the sunny south Andrew re-entered the business world and built a tech-based virtual office business back in his hometown of Toronto. This experience ingrained a commitment to one-to-one client service and a new-found passion for the new field of digital marketing. After building the business to record revenues he sold the business and his properties and made the permanent move west to Victoria with his family, seeking a more casual lifestyle with a deeper connection to nature.
Throughout his business career Andrew always had a love of real estate and has owned homes in Canada from lake country to ski country, as well as oceanfront and golf course properties in the US and the Caribbean. Andrew is always happy to discuss property markets and strategy with clients. He considers himself less transaction oriented and more consultative in nature.
